The Tilted City
These images try to unveil the vitality and dynamism of Mumbai’s cityscape, of its tilted and infused spaces, at the same time vast and vacant.
They are visual depictions that have slowly been erased from the metropolis, since our memory has grown accustomed to a city in perpetual disorder. Yet, where we normally see confusion, I looked for a solitary space: in a utopian and fleeting shot, I was seeking for a moment of rest and peace, before the site returns to its original state of chaos and clutter.
Within this immenseness, the penetration of the human appears minuscule, inconsequential and lost.
